Blog 2
Creative Nonfiction is about experience, about truth without alternating it in any way. It's about having characters, setting, dialogue, all based on what you have experienced. Creative Nonfiction is writing about the life you have lived. It is writing through you eye's, your experiences and the way it was lived. Lott and Gutkind, both leave out how creative nonfiction is written, having examples to emphasize on each point. Both in their own way explained what creative nonfiction is based on, but didn't mention of usage of flashback, metaphors, and language. These definitions of creative nonfiction are changing in light of digital publishing by compression, leaving out parts of the story. Now there is blogging which in a way compresses the truth since social media is taking over slowly. In the end creative nonfiction is the experiences through your own eye's, where the truth is told.
